Juha is the Senior Product Manager at Nordea Private Netbank, where he is responsible for the development of mobile banking services. He is also a member of the board of Mobey Forum, the financial industry led organisation encouraging and promoting the use of mobile financial services through experience sharing, analyses and cross-industry collaboration.
Tadashi Morita is the General Manager of the Innovation and Development Department of the FeliCa Division in Sony B2B Group. The department is in charge of technology development and security management of FeliCa Businesses. He also has the Sony Corporate title of Chef Distinguished Engineer to promote product security technology.
Many of the FeliCa Contactless IC Cards and chips are his accomplishments, as well as the world’s first Mobile contactless chip named Faver. This chip is the basis of the Osaifu-Keitai (Mobile Wallet) Platform commercialized in Japan in 2004.
Since 2002, he has been a member of the NFC technology development team, at that time with Philips, and continues his contributions to the NFC Forum activities, and leads NFC technology development in Sony.
Mr. Markku Pulkkinen is currently Head of Solution Architectures at the Corporate Development Office in Nokia and is leading a group of technical architects. His team provides technical concepts and architectures for business development by utilizing relevant internal and external solutions and innovations.
Markku has a long history in building technical concepts in multiple areas including security and mobile device management. Prior to joining Nokia in 2003, Markku worked over a decade in Finnish SW companies in a variety of roles for the Mobile as well as Steel manufacturing industry.
Liisa Kanniainen holds Master of Science degree in International Economics. After university studies Liisa worked a few years as a polytechnic teacher and acquired also Polytechnic Teacher qualification.
Liisa Kanniainen has around 15 years of working experience on mobile financial services. Liisa has led several pioneering projects during the early days of this industry. First she worked at Digital B.V. in the Netherlands, then the next 6 years in Finland at Nokia Corporation. During her Nokia Mobile Phones years Liisa worked in various management positions in product development. Her last position at Nokia Ventures was Head of R&D, mobile commerce.
In 2001 she changed to Nordea Bank and Mobey Forum in order to full time concentrate on creating the cross-industry collaboration required for making the mobile financial services market as the Mobey Forum Workgroup Executive. In Nordea she has been in charge of mobile financial services on corporate level. In Mobey Forum she carries since Feb 2007 the full operational responsibility of all activities and daily management of the Forum as the Executive Director of the rapidly growing cross-industry consortium.
Liisa Kanniainen is a well-known and knowledgeable industry expert who often contributes to the industry conferences as Chairman or Keynote presenter.
Jean-Philippe Betoin is vice president, NFC marketing and strategy at INSIDE Contactless, in charge of driving the NFC product line. During his 18-year background in the wireless telecommunications industry, he has held a number of senior executive positions in marketing, sales and strategy at leading technology vendors including Gemplus (currently Gemalto) and Apple. He was chairman of the SIMalliance, the industry forum of SIM Card vendors, in 2001 and 2002, and has been a board member of the NFC Forum since 2008.
